Award-winning producers of all-natural beers

Shannon Brewing Company

The brewery crafts all of its beer the way it was done centuries ago — with FIRE using pure Texas spring water, whole grain, whole flower hops, and a whole lotta love. The brewery engineered a one-of-a-kind brewhouse, allowing it to heat its mash (grain + water) and wort (sweet liquid extracted from the mash) with fire, giving its beer a caramelized malt profile.

What makes our beer great?

  • Pure Texas Spring Water. We start the brewing process with pure Texas spring water. Our water comes straight from the spring, through our filtering system, right into our brewing tanks — no chlorine, fluoride or any other treatments…just pure spring water.
  • Fire Brewed Process. Our beer is brewed with fire, an old-school process inspired by some of the oldest brewhouses in Ireland. Our unique brewhouse and process enable our brewers to precisely control enzyme activity, produce superior malty flavors and delicately caramelize our sugars — creating truly wonderful and unique beers.
  • All-Natural & Wholesome Ingredients. We use pure spring water, quality malted barley and whole flower hops in all of our brews. This provides our beer a complexity, flavor profile and aroma that is wholesome, natural and truly enjoyable.
  • Patience. Great beer takes time — it requires patience in brewing, fermenting and especially aging. Our beers are allowed to age properly, ensuring a wholesome and great tasting beer.
  • Never Filtered or Pasteurized. Filtering strips flavor from beer and pasteurizing kills it. We produce beer that is all-natural, beautiful and tasty!
First USDA certified All Natural feeding facility in North Texas.

Z Bar Cattle Company

Z Bar is committed to serving you the best grass-finished and grain-finished beef we can raise. We do this without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Located in Sunset, TX, we’re a family-owned cattle ranch. Keller’s local cattle company.

What makes our steaks great?

  • As a USDA certified All Natural feeding facility we far exceed the standards set by the USDA and third party auditors for animal welfare. Our Angus cattle are turned out in 4-15 acre pastures with access to fresh water, shade, and plenty of room to stretch out. You might say they live a life of luxury compared to commodity beef. After working cattle all over the country, we built a new modern working facility that works with the animals natural instinct. By building this facility we have almost eliminated any use of a hot shot or cattle prod. Our cattle receive vaccinations around 3 months old and again at 9 months.
  • Our USDA Federally Inspected Facility hangs every carcass for 10-21 days in a carefully controlled environment with precise temperature and humidity levels. In addition to an increase in tenderness, the flavor of the beef is altered during this process from a combination of bacteria, enzyme breakdown, and oxidation. As only dry aging intensifies the flavor. We know that when we take a steer to harvest, we will get our beef back. At the end of the day, we want our customers to know with certainty where their beef is coming from and how it was raised.
  • Our goal is to provide families with natural, quality beef at affordable prices.
  • Grass-fed Beef– Antibiotic-free, Growth-hormone-free, Grain-free
  • Grain-fed Beef– Antibiotic-free, Growth-hormone-free, Not grown in small pens, Never fed any feed additives or ionophores.

Two Brothers Winery

Two Brothers Winery opened in Old Town Keller on November 29, 2019 (Black Friday).  Our goal is to give our guests a place where they can meet up with friends and share stories over a glass of wine.  We’d love for you to stop in for a glass or stay to take part in a tasting to find your favorite Two Brothers Wine.  Once you pick your favorite you can take a bottle or two (or 3 or 4 or …) home with you to enjoy.

Our Story

Two Brothers Winery is a local family business owned and operated by two brothers, Brian and Eddie Kirkwood, and their spouses, Stephanie and Donna, as well as two long-time family friends, Greg and Stephanie Espinoza. Eddie and Donna had dreamed of opening a winery in Keller, TX where they currently have a thriving insurance agency.  They had been a part of the Keller community for many years and had watched the small-town begin to develop by bringing in amazing restaurants and shopping options, but a winery had not been thought of.  Eddie and Donna joined forces with Eddie’s brother Brian and his wife Stephanie to make it a true family business.  While the building was being renovated and they were waiting to open Greg and Stephanie joined the team.  They had always been a part of the overall plan but now they are part of the “family” biz.  So, while the name remains Two Brothers Winery, we have a 3rd brother/friend that God graciously blessed us with.  Problem is, it was way too late to change the name from Two Brothers to Two Brothers And A Brother From Another Mother.  Therefore, Two Brothers Winery it is.
